Jan 04, 2019 · I have used Cable internet for at least 20 years. My ISP's were Cox, Charter (Spectrum) and now AT&T Fiber and all of these have given me the speed I pay for. Yes they can throttle the speed but I have never seen it happen. I pay for 1Gb service and they do offer 300mbs using the same equipment and control the speed with options.
